Sometimes, you can’t make a change to one room without affecting multiple rooms at the same time. Many people don’t realise this.

If the house’s design means that you don’t have space to make a major change in the kitchen without spilling into the dining room, that means you’ve either got to fix both rooms or leave both of them alone.

The last thing you want to do is solve one problem and create another at the same time, because then you’re right back where you started, with less money and time on your side to help fix the issue.

Renovating a kitchen can be a great way to make a house more marketable, but sometimes, all the kitchen needs is a little bit of scrubbing and mopping to get it looking its best.

If you’re not sure if a renovation is right for you, it’s often best to take a step back and make sure you’re making the right choice before you plunge into a project in the hopes of making a sale.
